Follow up Friday - Week of May 5-9

Sorry for the late edition of last week's Follow Up Friday!

Our staff spent most of last week going out to huddle meetings and lunch times to recruit students for FCA Camps this summer.  The last teams have committed to both team camps, making each camp at full capacity with 36 teams!  This week, we will begin working on camp schedules and continue recruiting for camps.

We are also in the process of planning for the 2014 Betty Probasco FCA Golf Classic and the 5K/10K for FCA race.  Sponsors are beginning to flow in for both and we are looking forward to these two great events in the community!

How can you help?

  • Prayer - Pray for our staff as we build schedules for 72 teams across the two basketball camps.  Each schedule includes 8 games, 3 quiet times, 3 huddle times, and 6 meals, so these schedules get very complicated!  Also, continue to pray as our staff goes out to schools that we would recruit the students and coaches who God wants at camp this year.
  • Donate - Each year, our office sends over 350 athletes and coaches to FCA camps.  Many of these require at least a partial scholarship to be able to attend.  If you would like to donate towards camp scholarships, go go to and choose which ministry you would like to support.

Thanks for the fast reply. I work at Moody Bible Institute out of my home in Dahlonega and have a great respect for the Probascos and would love to be a part of the tournament. Are there any open spots?
