Follow up Friday - Week of May 12-16

This week has been a busy week with meetings for camps and the golf tournament.  Team camp schedules are in the process of being created and the golf committee is working to secure sponsors and silent auction items.  Camp recruiting is still in full swing and we have several athletes already signed up!

Two more exciting ministry opportunities will be coming up this next week with several of our staff going on mission trips with UTC and area coaches.  Chris and Julie will be taking a group of 13 UTC athletes and students to Spanish Wells, Bahamas to minister to an island of Haitian refugees.  They will be helping with building projects as well as showing Christ's love through sports with the kids.  Will is also going on a mission trip this upcoming week with two coaches from his school year Bible studies.  Their group will be traveling to the Dominican, where they will be helping with construction projects.  Will has also been asked to disciple some of the high school athletes with the mission team as well as some of the older boys in the Dominican orphanage while he is there.  Both of these trips will be great opportunities for our staff, athletes, and coaches to reach outside of their comfort zones and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

How Can You Help?

  • Pray - Pray for both mission trips - safety as they travel, that God would use these experiences to deepen their relationship with Him, and that they would shine His light to other nations.
  • Donate - As camps approach, many athletes and coaches will need scholarships in order to attend camp.  If you can donate toward camp scholarships, you can do so online by going to the Donate page or by sending a check to Chattanooga FCA, PO Box 338, Hixson, TN 37343.

Thanks to each of you for your great partnership with Chattanooga FCA!
